Setup guide using a public solo pool [default]
🌐 Option 1: Solo Mining Using a Public Pool (e.g., solo.ckpool.org)
1. Connect to Bitaxe Wi-Fi
Power on Bitaxe.
Connect to its Wi-Fi (e.g., bitaxe-XXXX).
Open browser → go to 192.168.4.1.
2. Configure Network & Pool
Enter your Wi-Fi credentials.
Set pool details:
Pool URL: solo.ckpool.org
Port: 3333
Username: Your Bitcoin address
Password: Anything (e.g., x)
3. Start Mining
Reboot Bitaxe.
It connects to solo.ckpool.org and starts hashing.
You can view stats by entering your Bitcoin address at:

🔌 Option 2: Solo Mining with Your Own Bitcoin Node
1. Connect to Bitaxe Wi-Fi
Power on Bitaxe.
Connect to its Wi-Fi (e.g., bitaxe-XXXX).
Open browser → go to 192.168.4.1.
2. Configure Network & Pool
Enter your Wi-Fi credentials.
Set pool details:
Pool URL: 127.0.0.1
Port: Depends on your stratum proxy (e.g., 3333)
Username: Your Bitcoin address
3. Run a Local Bitcoin Node
Install Bitcoin Core.
Sync fully and run with:
ini
Copy
Edit
txindex=1
server=1
in bitcoin.conf.
4. Set Up a Stratum Proxy
Use a solo stratum proxy like:
ckpool solo
stratumproxy
Connect the proxy to your node.
Bitaxe connects to the proxy, which fetches work from your node.
5. Start Mining
Reboot Bitaxe.
It connects to the proxy and begins hashing.
